The flag is maroon on which is centered the insignia of the branch of the Army Medical Department in white, detailed gray, between two white arced scrolls, the top scroll inscribed SOLDIER RECOVERY UNIT and the bottom scroll inscribed with the designation of the organization with all letters maroon. The fringe is white.
